Happy 7 months to my little babe, can’t believe she is already 7 months — feels like I just blinked and now she’s a little madam — full of personality — loud I’ve never known for a baby to be so lou
Ive just been finding ways to entertain her and get her on a schedule for naps and bedtime, we have the bedtime routine in but she is still waking in the night normally twice a night.
Lately she has learnt to sit unaided, copying, eating solid food with bits and is able to put her dummy back in. No further on crawling she’s just not interested being on her tummy.
Me on the other hand still on anti ds and still suffering from anxiety, it feels never ending I know it will do I just need to be kind to myself. Just this is hard as everyone always comes before me, I’m trying to rest and have decided to take the rest of the year of with Lilith, we can afford it by dropping our mortgage and help of benefits plus savings.
I’m away be next week with lil to my dads in scottyland, it’s a big thing for me as I will be alone with lil on the plane I’m really scared but excited to see my dad & family.
Well I have been on maternity leave for about 3 or 4 weeks now and we have reached 39 weeks, baby is still no further engaged then it was 4 weeks ago so it is just a waiting game. Really enjoying maternity leave been catching up with friends and my family, organising the house and making sure everything is ready to go!

I have now packed my bags ready to go to hospital — one for labour, one for baby and one for me afterwards, I am hoping to stay at home as long as I can as hospitals freak me out! And I wasn’t overly impressed by my local hospital when I was having horrible dizzy spells and had to go in, my midwife has been really supportive and said if she is on shift she will come and check me at home. I also have a scary meeting with my fertility specialist Wednesday as mine doesn’t like clomid pregnancy to go past 40 weeks and likes to induce mothers but I don’t want to be induced and my midwife said there is no need for me to be induced and she will do a sweep this Friday so as I need to support as I have no balls in standing up to people I am taking my mum with me as husband has to work.

My baby’s bednest is now up — for co sleeping it should last the first 6 months then we will buy a proper cot but I think it is really cute. Also been working on my belly book of my bump picture for each week — it was brought for me by a friend on a forum I post as I love it and managed to get it finished last week. We also did a belly cast so we can remember how big I was

So that has pretty much been the last few weeks — just going to appointments — taking husband to appointments (he had his wisdom tooth removed and then had an MRI for his back which came back clear) and spending time with my brothers mostly as one has come back from university and the other is on school holiday.

Happy 39 weeks to me and hopefully the next post should be when the baby is here! Eeek!
I say this because I have spent the last hour looking at mops and food processors on the internet, and not only that but drooling over them, like I would of done for shiny new shoes. I just really want a steam mop, don’t know if this is down to nesting or what but I want to make everything really clean and my old mop is just rubbish, I feel like it is just moving dirt from one end of my kitchen/bathroom to the other! I will have to buy one on pay-day which is in about a week! I will of course report back. My husband thinks I am going a bit nuts but it keeps me entertained.
Exciting news this week is that loft man is coming (not a super hero but a man to do the loft) and I can’t wait for the loft to be boarded at the moment only half of it is done so yesterday we took all the stuff down and now my bedroom looks like an episode of hoarders, I swear I didn’t realise how much junk I have! I am going to go through all the bin bags worth of clothes most of this stuff doesn’t fit me and will probably never fit me again. So loft man is going to do the loft, plus build some other bits and pieces in the house.
Other than that I have my baby shower this week and I am really excited, my best friends have been planning it in secret so I know nothing of what is going on, will take my camera with me, it feels a bit unreal to be having a baby shower after trying for so long, bit like a dream.
I am also getting addicted to painting my nails as I can’t do much else while pregnant, and I am loving model’s own nail polish, these are my new ones from the last month.
Took me ages to find these last ones as they are special limited edition on the InStyle magazine, they are normally £11 each so I managed to get all three for £10 and gave the other two copies of the magazine to my mum and mother in law.
I am back off to clean, hope you all have a super week.
Merry Christmas everyone! It’s been a busy couple of weeks been in and out of hospital with a cyst causing me pain on my ovary so that is being monitored at the moment to make sure if it does get bigger than it will have to be removed. So I am off the clomid for the time being, it’s nice to have some sanity feeling back.
Other than that we have been decorating the house and recovering from a cold which I caught from the husband. I am so excited for Christmas, can’t wait to see my family. My brother is home for the week from university, my step-dad is home from Spain where he has been teaching and my uncle and aunt are over from Zurich. Big old family affair!
I did get a chance to do some baking for my husband’s work, Christmas tree cupcakes.

These were fab! I made some much icing that I had to freeze it but will use it again on more cupcakes as it was fab buttercream icing even if I do say so myself.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas day!
Yay it is up! Nearly Christmas so excited! Are your trees up?
